Introducing the All New Little Light House Cookbook

“I’m so excited about our Little Light House Cookbook!” It is filled with fabulous recipes which are proven to be easy enough for the most inexperienced cook and indescribably delicious at the same time. My favorite is the Cinnamon Ring which you can make in five minutes the night before you want to serve it, then pop it in the oven the next morning and voila, you have a scrumptious treat your family will beg you to make time and again!

Being raised around the bakery business, I can remember being fascinated with baking from early childhood. It was always intriguing to me how you could combine several ingredients, blend them together, put them in the oven and a short time later remove a delectable cake, bread or other delicious treat. I guess, in a way, I’m still fascinated by that process!

There is another blending of ingredients which produces an equally wonderful result! It occurs here at The Little Light House. It is the blending of expertise which we call a trans-disciplinary team approach. This process involves combining the professional skills and knowledge of Certified Special Education Teachers, Licensed Therapists, trained Associates with the loving hands of caring volunteers, all the while making sure you are incorporating into that mix the critically important insights and understanding of the parents. This blend produces miraculous results in the form of milestones and miracles in the lives of the very special children we serve everyday!

You, our Little Light House supporters and treasured friends make this blend possible. We are extremely grateful for your continued commitment to this work. Thank you for pouring out your love and concern and for enabling us to continue to watch these children “rise” to new heights!
