Special Needs Ministry Training & Resource Day
This event is designed to equip churches and volunteers with the knowledge and resources needed to better serve individuals with special needs and their families. Through expert-led sessions, personal stories, and hands-on training, attendees will gain practical tools to create a more inclusive church community.

• Legal and Ethical Responsibilities: Dan Beirute, J.D., will provide insights on accessibility laws and maintaining confidentiality.
• Volunteer Training & Buddy System: Learn how to effectively support individuals with special needs in a church setting.
• Personal Stories & Testimonies: Gain a deeper understanding of the impact of inclusive ministry from parents, siblings, and volunteers.
• Buddy Bag Make & Take: Create a toolkit with sensory-friendly resources to use in your ministry.
• Dads’ Perspective: A conversation with fathers about their experiences finding a church that welcomes their child.
• Panel & Breakout Discussions: Hear from church leaders who have built thriving special needs ministries and discuss solutions to common challenges.
• Networking & Group Discussion: Share experiences, ask questions, and connect with others who are working to create inclusive church environments.
