The Right Care is Everything .

Our Developmental Center program is internationally recognized as providing some of the most individualized special education and therapeutic early intervention services in the world.

Each classroom has a certified Special Education Teacher, two associate teachers, and a team of certified therapists, including a Speech-Language Pathologist, Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, and an Assistive Technology Specialist. This team uses a transdisciplinary approach to create programs uniquely tailored for every child, helping them reach developmental milestones.

Classes are held Monday through Thursday, 8:30 AM – 1:00 PM. These classes are in session twelve months out of the year with seasonal three-week breaks.

Do I have to have a diagnosis for my child to get on the waitlist?

No. You just need a suspicion of a delay, disability, or diagnosis. Once they are on the waitlist they are eligible for our Family Learning Center program. During this process, we will screen your child to see if they are eligible for services in the Developmental Center. If we see that your child is not in need of our  services, your teacher or therapist will recommend other resources that are better suited for your child.

What ages do you serve?

Birth through 6 years old. (Must be 6 before August 1st).

Do you charge tuition?

No. Thanks to our community of dedicated donors and volunteers, we do not charge tuition. We do ask parents to contribute a monthly supply fee in the Developmental Center and once a semester in the Family Learning Center to ensure our classrooms have resources for in-class activities.

What therapies do you provide?

Physical therapy, Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, vision therapy, assistive technologies, and nursing.

Do you follow the same schedule as the public schools?

No, we are a year-round program. This includes four, three week breaks throughout the year. Please visit the school calendar for more information.

Our Approach

Transdisciplinary Approach

Our transdisciplinary team includes physical, occupational, and speech therapists, assistive technology professionals, teachers, associate teachers, and nurses.

These experts work together to provide personalized care and support, helping each child improve their movement, communication, learning, and overall well-being.

Early
Intervention

Early intervention for children with special needs is crucial. By addressing developmental delays early, we can support their rapid brain development and help them reach their full potential.

This also helps bridge gaps with their peers, allowing them to thrive in school and social settings.

Faith Based

The Developmental Center uses its own Bible-based curriculum to guide children with special needs in their educational and spiritual growth.

This curriculum integrates biblical principles into every lesson, fostering a nurturing environment where children and families are supported both spiritually and developmentally.

What parents are saying...

Why Does Early Intervention Matter?

Early intervention is crucial for children with developmental delays or disabilities because it takes advantage of critical brain development periods, leading to improved cognitive, social, and emotional skills. It enhances school readiness, boosts social abilities, and provides essential support and resources for families, empowering them to aid their child’s development.

Additionally, early intervention is cost-effective, reducing the need for more intensive services later on. Early detection and prompt intervention can mitigate or prevent the progression of developmental issues, ultimately fostering healthier, more capable individuals and benefiting society as a whole.
