GET HELP
Little Light House is a tuition free early childhood developmental center that serves children with special needs ages birth through six years old. We strive to provide a high-quality and inclusive educational experience for all children.
During the school day, our students receive an excellent education through highly educated and special education certified teachers. They also will benefit from our incredible transdisciplinary therapy team as they help your child with their individual needs.
Research shows the importance of early intervention. There is a great need for this type of service and school. However, due to high demand and limited capacity, we have a waitlist for enrollment.
Our waitlist is managed on a first-come, first-served basis, and we do our best to accommodate families as soon as space becomes available. We encourage families to apply as early as possible to increase their chances of securing a spot at our center.
Currently our wait is approximately 3 years for the developmental center but don’t let that discourage you, because we have several other programs that you can take advantage of. While on the waitlist, families can enroll in the Family Learning Center, join our monthly family gatherings, and receive resources and information from us. We understand that waiting can be stressful, and we want to support you in any way possible. If you would like to join our waitlist please click the link above.

No. You just need a suspicion of a delay, disability, or diagnosis. Once they are on the waitlist they are eligible for our Early Intervention program. When they reach the top of the waiting list, we will screen your child to see if they are eligible for services in the Developmental Center. If we see that your child is not in need of our services, your teacher or therapist will recommend other resources for you.
