A Supportive Community
community focuses classes
A community is only as strong as its families.
Our mission is to create a community where caregivers are empowered, supported, and equipped with resources to thrive and find joy in their child. We do this through our part time program where we offer weekly classes for a caregiver and their child to attend together. These classes meet for two hours at a time. We offer a variety of class times Monday-Thursday. We encourage all families to start their Little Light House journey here in the Family Learning Center.
Siblings are not allowed to attend. This is a time for the caregiver to bond with the child and other caregivers attending classes.
Monday 12:30-2:30 pm, Tuesday-Thursday 9:00-11:00 am and 12:30-2:30 pm.
6 children plus their caregiver
We only allow each child to sign up for one class at a time.
We understand that you are juggling work schedules, appointments, and childcare, so if your schedule changes, please tell us, and we will see if there is an opening in another class that better fits your schedule.
You can come with just your child but feel free to bring whatever you need to take care of your child.
We are completely tuition free because of our amazing donors! We do ask that you provide a $40 supply fee each semester to buy things that your child will use in the classroom. If this is not possible, please let us know and we will work with you.

Why Does Early Intervention Matter?
Early intervention is crucial for children with developmental delays or disabilities because it takes advantage of critical brain development periods, leading to improved cognitive, social, and emotional skills. It enhances school readiness, boosts social abilities, and provides essential support and resources for families, empowering them to aid their child’s development.
Additionally, early intervention is cost-effective, reducing the need for more intensive services later and promoting development. Early detection and prompt intervention can mitigate or prevent the progression of developmental issues, ultimately fostering healthier, more capable individuals and benefiting society as a whole.
